Acoustical Control, Inc. is very successful at meeting strict city and county mandates at formerly unachievable sound levels. The company has been in business for over 12 years, with the president and staff bringing decades of real world oil and gas experience to the sound control business. 45 employees make up the staff, from design engineers and support technicians to installation crews, all working to complete your system efficiently.
Noise mitigation standards have risen in the oil and gas industry with their expansion across not only environmentally sensitive areas, but amongst heavy populated residential areas. These standards established a next-to-impossible task of muffling the noises and vibrations caused by compressors leaving the industry to find an environmentally friendly solution to satisfy regulators, clients, and residents surrounding the sites.

With over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, Steve Kellenaers was approached by industry leaders when this issue arose in the San Juan Basin of New Mexico in 1997. Kellenaers then formed Acoustical Control, Inc. and began researching what it would take to create a product that would minimize the noise and vibration of oil and gas compressors. This led him to Kinetics Noise Control, Inc., a company that engineers and manufactures a variety of noise and vibration control products and services. As a leader in this industry since 1958, Kinetics began a partnership with Acoustical Control in 1999 to offer enclosures and barriers to the oil and gas industry and that are professionally engineered to meet all applicable codes and standards.
