Buildings for oil and gas noise control
For the most demanding oil and gas noise control requirements, our sound absorbing buildings meet rigorous sound restrictions. Most often buildings are erected in oil and gas wellhead and midstream applications close to businesses, homes and institutions, to sound proof compressors and engines.
Our fast installations mean very little compressor or equipment downtime at the wellsite or compression station.
Ambient noise levels along with a full band noise analysis are used to design the structure to best control the noise, and to meet the sound abatement requirements. Our careful design and implementation ensures a solution to noise issues the first time — guaranteed!
We use Kinetics NOISEBLOCK™ HTL panels specifically designed for applications where more transmission loss is required. The HTL panels are fabricated of a 16 gauge outer skin, a 22 gauge perforated inner skin, 18 gauge stiffener channels and a high mass septum. The 4" thick HTL panels have an STC of 48 and a NRC of 1.00. Specifications for NOISEBLOCK™.
